Christopher Hanson’s love for cooking began at home, shaped by a diverse upbringing influenced by Asian, Hispanic, and European traditions. Early experiences centered around food, family, and shared meals laid the foundation for the way he cooks today with heart, intention, and a genuine desire to bring people together.

That same appreciation for connection and service carried into another major part of his life: a career in wildland fire. Through years spent working in fire management, Christopher experienced firsthand the meaning of camaraderie, resilience, and the importance of a good meal in demanding environments. On the fireline, “chow” is more than food it is a moment to reset, reconnect, and take care of the people beside you. That spirit became a defining part of the vision behind Fireline Bistro.

After gaining experience in kitchens across Texas and earning his Culinary Arts degree from the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, Christopher continued to grow as both a chef and a leader, eventually serving as the Executive Chef for the Smoky Hill Country Club.

In 2023, he founded Fireline Bistro LLC to create something more personal: a chef-driven experience rooted in thoughtful food, genuine hospitality, and meaningful connection. What began through private dining events and exclusive in-home chef services across Northwest Kansas quickly earned strong support, especially from the Stockton community.
